Overview

This project is a complete transformation of my personal portfolio — rebuilt from a static HTML/CSS/JS site into a fully modern, scalable WordPress experience. It reflects my growth from writing everything by hand to designing a polished, dynamic website that’s easier to maintain, expand, and brand professionally.

Where It Started

My original portfolio lived on GitHub Pages and was built entirely from scratch using:

  • HTML for structure
  • CSS for styling
  • JavaScript for interactivity
  • GitHub Pages for hosting

It was a great foundation and taught me the fundamentals of front‑end development, version control, and deploying static sites.

The New Version

The redesigned portfolio is built with:

  • WordPress as the CMS
  • Elementor for layout and design
  • Plugins for security, performance, and advanced features
  • Custom CSS for refined styling
  • A custom domain for a professional online presence

This setup gives me the flexibility of a CMS with the creative freedom of custom code.

What This Project Represents

This rebuild marks a shift from “I can code a website” to “I can design, build, and maintain a professional digital presence.” It shows my ability to combine:

  • WordPress customization
  • UI/UX design
  • Branding
  • Technical problem‑solving

It’s not just a redesign — it’s a milestone in my evolution as a developer.
