Supreme Court of Belize

Overview
Located in the heart of my hometown, Belize City, the Supreme Court of Belize is a historic landmark rebuilt and maintained to honor the style of the original structure. This 3D model, created in SketchUp, is a labor of love designed to restore the building to its most pristine digital form.

Reality vs. 3D Model
While the physical building carries the dignified wear and tear of a century, this model serves as a “clean remake”—an idealized version of the structure at its architectural peak.
The Court is usually only seen from the street. This model offers an exclusive 360° bird’s-eye view of the clock tower and roofline, angles impossible to see from the sidewalk.

Architectural Highlights
Because the property is private, I focused my attention on the intricate exterior details that make this building iconic:
Wrought Iron Craftsmanship: A recreation of the filigreed stairs and balcony rails decorated with vines and flowers.
The Four-Sided Clock: The building’s crowning feature.
The Windows: Careful attention was given to the unique variations of window styles across the facade.
It’s a landmark that carries history, character, and a sense of Belizean identity.
